Buying: How does it work?
Shopping at LawBookTrader.com is a lot like shopping everywhere else on the Internet. You can use our search engine to find specific items you're looking for, or you can browse for items by category. Plus, you simply use your credit card to purchase on LawBookTrader.com.

When you're shopping, go to the item's detail page and click "Add to Cart" to place the item in your cart. Once you've finished shopping, click "Checkout" in your shopping cart and LawBookTrader.com will help you complete your purchase.

The big difference at LawBookTrader.com is that you're not buying stuff from us, you are buying it from other LawBookTrader.com Members. When you find the item you want, you get to choose which item to buy and from whom. Items can vary in price and condition and sellers typically have various ratings from Members that have bought from them previously.

Once you've placed an order for an item, we go to work. First, we notify the seller of the item you've purchased. Then we email you as soon as the seller has confirmed that the item will be shipped. Finally, after your item has been sent, we charge your credit card. (No seller ever has access to your credit card.)
