| Selling:
How does it work? |
 |
LawBookTrader.com
is the place for you to turn your unwanted books into cash. Listing
your books for sale is easy on LawBookTrader.com.
In many cases, LawBookTrader.com's
catalog already contains all the information that buyers are looking
for on the product you're listing for sale. However, if you are
listing an item that is not in our catalog we'll provide you with
the tools needed to get it listed.
Best of all, listing items for sale is FREE at
LawBookTrader.com.
Once you list your stuff, it's almost as simple as watching the
money roll in. Here's how to do it, in 3 easy steps:
|
Step
One |
Click
'Sell Your Books' at the top of any page and enter the ISBN
for your books to find the item. You can also run a search from
any page to find the particular item you wish to sell. On the
item's detail page click on the 'Sell Yours Now' button to begin
listing it for sale.
Looking
to list a lot of items for sale?
If you have a lot of items to sell click on the "Find out
what we can do for you" link on the 'Start Selling' page
to find out how LawBookTrader.com can help you list a lot of
items at once.
Can't find your item in our catalog?
If you are selling items outside of legal books and you can't
find the item you want to sell in our catalog, LawBookTrader.com
will help you describe the item to us by asking you some basic
questions. Simply tell us what you know about the item and we'll
help you list it.
|
|
Step
Two |
When
you are listing items for sale, use our quality ratings to describe
the condition of your item and type in a short note (e.g. "Still
in shrinkwrap", "Human bite marks on cover",
etc.). Click 'Continue'. Next, pick a price, select your shipping
method (if you haven't already determined it in your account),
click 'Add Item' and you're in business! For items outside the
listed book categories, you can also add a 1000 word description
and upload an picture of the item.
|
|
Step
Three |
As
soon as someone's bought one of your items, we'll send you an
email. All you need to do is a.) reply to the email so we know
you'll be sending the item in the next 24 hours and b.) package
it up well so the item is protected and ship it.
How do I get paid for my sales?
You get paid via paper check. Payments via check will be made
up to twice a month, depending on how much you sell.
Your payments will be for the amount you've sold minus a 15%
commission. LawBookTrader.com will pay a fixed shipping reimbursement
for all sales.
